Fish and Man

"Never forget that only dead fish swim with the stream." (Malcolm Muggeridge)

Today is the lucky day when you, the reader, can offer me assistance! Got a couple of questions for all ya'll. First off, I've recently discovered that some people for whom I am responsible have been cheating in a class. What would you do?

Here's a question posed by a friend of mine. Let's say you lived in a part of China where the only way you can do business is to give bribes to the government officials regulating the process. Would you do it?

i don't quite think that cheating is as necessary as bribery is in some places, and so not exactly equatable.

it probably is not your place to expose the cheating. there are, of course, many considerations, but it is the cheater's part to stop/confess, and the proctor's job to unearth and process/punish.

interestingly, the Bible seems to encourage and applaud bribery in all the most memorable instances.

in situations where bribery is "necessary," hard to deal with, still trying to figure that out.

Proverbs says that bribery works, but that it will eventually bring destruction
